How this tool works
Method version uk-admissions-tools-v1. The tool runs on the server from the values in the page address, works without JavaScript, and keeps nothing you type.
What it calculates
- Average pace is the minutes you entered converted to seconds and divided by the question count you entered, rounded to the nearest second.
- Checkpoints show the questions finished and time elapsed at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% of a section.
- Section names come from the registry only when an official test-owner format source establishes them; otherwise the rows are numbered and you label them yourself.
What it will not do
- An even average is a reference point, not a rule that every question deserves the same time.
- Question counts and time limits are not published here; copy them from the live official specification for your sitting.
- This tool never states whether an application will succeed and never predicts a score.
