UK admissions test tools
Four free tools built on the recorded UK admissions rows and the values you type: a requirement finder, a deadline checklist, a pacing calculator, and an exam-date planner.
Sources last checked 2026-08-14
Check the exact course before booking.
The test owner controls the test; the institution controls whether your course requires it and by when.
Pick a tool
Each tool runs on the server, works with JavaScript switched off, and shows the official page behind every line it prints. Nothing you type is stored, sent on, or used to judge an application.
Course and test requirement finder
Filter the recorded institution, course, and entry-year rows to see which admissions test each row names, and which official source establishes it.
An empty result means this registry holds no matching row, not that no test is required.
Admissions-test deadline checklist
Turn the recorded date guidance and sitting constraints for your institution and test into an ordered checklist, then order your own registration, sitting, and application dates against it.
The registry never stores a live deadline, so no deadline is shown unless you type it in.
Admissions-test pacing calculator
Split the time you were given across the sections you are sitting, with quarter-way checkpoints, using the module list only where an official source establishes it.
An even average is a reference point, not a rule that every question deserves the same time.
Exam-date study planner
Count the whole weeks between the start date and sitting date you enter, then walk the recorded preparation order across those weeks.
The plan is arithmetic on your dates and hours; it says nothing about readiness, a score, or an admission outcome.
Official sources
Each link goes to the official test owner, institution, or official report. A test-owner page does not establish a university course requirement; that requires an institution source.
- UAT-UK Annual Report 2025–26: Candidate Data
UAT-UK · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2027-08-01
Use only for dated UAT-UK candidate data. It does not establish that a particular course requires a test.
- TARA: Test of Academic Reasoning for Admissions
UAT-UK · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use for the current TARA structure. Course requirements still need an institution source.
- UAT-UK registration and fees
UAT-UK · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use the live page for TMUA, ESAT, and TARA registration, booking, testing, and fee details. Do not infer a course requirement from registration information.
- Admissions tests
University of Oxford · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use only for Oxford entry-year and course requirements. It must not be generalized to other universities or courses.
- LNAT test format
LNAT Consortium · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use for the current two-part LNAT format. Institution-specific deadlines and requirements need an institution source.
- Law Admissions Report 2025
University of Oxford Faculty of Law · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2027-08-01
Use as a dated Oxford Law admissions report, not as the source of future-cycle deadlines.
- STEP Mathematics key dates and fees
OCR · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use for the published STEP cycle's dates and fees. A university course page or offer remains the authority for whether a STEP paper or grade is required; this source record does not establish the test format.
- UCAT 2026 test dates
UCAT Consortium · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use for the named 2026 UCAT cycle and current UCAT naming. It does not establish the test format or a course requirement; course requirements still need the institution's page.
- GAMSAT Information Booklet
ACER · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use for the booklet's named administration cycle. Institution-specific score validity and requirements must come from the chosen course.
- Tests, tasks and interviews
University College London · checked 2026-08-11 · next review 2026-09-01
Use only for UCL courses and the entry cycle stated by UCL. It must not be generalized to other institutions.
