How this tool works

Method version uk-admissions-tools-v1. The tool runs on the server from the values in the page address, works without JavaScript, and keeps nothing you type.

What it calculates

  • Whole weeks are the days between the two dates you entered, divided by seven and rounded down.
  • Planned hours are your weekly hours multiplied by those whole weeks.
  • Each week is assigned the next recorded preparation step for the test, cycling through the recorded order.

What it will not do

  • The plan is arithmetic on your dates and hours; it says nothing about readiness, a score, or an admission outcome.
  • Preparation steps are the recorded ones for that test and are not tailored to your background.
  • This tool never states whether an application will succeed and never predicts a score.
