The three ScoreSelect options
ScoreSelect gives you three ways to send GRE scores, per ETS (accessed 2026-08-07).
- Most Recent sends the scores from your current administration.
- All sends every administration in the last five years.
- Any sends one or more chosen administrations from the last five years.
Free versus paid reports
On test day you can designate up to four institutions for free, according to ETS. Beyond those four, additional reports cost US$40 per recipient. Deciding your four free recipients before test day helps you avoid paying for reports you could have sent for free.
The test-day catch
There is one timing trap worth knowing from ETS: the Any option is available only for reports ordered after test day. The free test-day reports offer only Most Recent or All. So if you want to hand-pick specific administrations, plan to order those reports after test day rather than expecting Any at the center.
The window and the account
All three options draw from the same pool: scores are reportable for five years (accessed 2026-08-07), so that is the set ScoreSelect can send from. Additional reports beyond the free four are ordered later from your ETS account (accessed 2026-08-07).
